Geosam is a private real estate development and management firm with operations in the Southeast and has recently expanded into the Midwest. We own and manage several commercial and residential properties and have many exciting new land development projects underway.

The Role: Project Coordinator
As Project Coordinator, you will assist the development team with communication, documentation, and logistical needs to ensure that projects run smoothly and all procedures are followed accordingly. In this role, you will work closely with team members as well as consultants, contractors, and government agencies to ensure project objectives and schedules are on track. Other job responsibilities will include the following:
- Support and facilitate communication with the development team to execute critical tasks and track deadlines.
- Organize and maintain files related to zoning, permits, contracts, and preconstruction activities.
- Schedule meetings, site visits, and inspections with appropriate parties.
- Lead all administrative efforts necessary for the success of projects and the team.
- Coordinate with legal teams on land use documents, property transactions, easements, etc.
- Prepare and update project schedules and status reports.
- Support financial team with project budgeting, vendor agreements, and invoice tracking related to development activities.
- Track project milestones, critical dates, and compliance requirements.
- Assist in researching, preparing and submitting municipal applications, development permits, and planning documents.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and legal teams to ensure the timely delivery of preconstruction documentation.
As the Project Coordinator, you will possess the following qualifications:
- 3 years minimum experience in property administration, real estate development, or construction support roles.
- Post-secondary education in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of the preconstruction process, development timelines, and permitting requirements.
- Proven ability to manage multiple and complex tasks in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines
- Proven problem solver and decisive critical thinker
- Self starter who assumes ownership and accountability
- Must have a valid Driver’s License be able to drive to/from sites, offices and more
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Detail orientated
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with project management tools is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
